Orissa Sambad

Orissa's most widely read and largest circulated daily. The daily which started publication on October 4, 1984, is celebrating its silver jubilee during the year 2008-09.

The newspaper ushered in a revolution in the print media industry, with the introduction of offset printing technology. The Orissa Sambad was the first to introduce a separate sports page, a separate editorial page, weekly colour pull-outs and so much else, Sambad virtually changed the face of media in Orissa.
