Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya, Puri

Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya is the third Sanskrit university in India. It has played a vital role in the development and promotion of Sanskrit in the state as well as the country.

It functions as an apex body for propagation and development of Sanskrit and assists the Ministry of Human Resource Development in formulating and implementing various plans and schemes for the development of Sanskrit studies.
